Hampstead Cricket Club was founded in 1865 and has a rich history with outstanding traditions and sporting reputation. The Club takes great pride that it still maintains a wide, inclusive and cosmopolitan membership. We have both mens, womens and junior (colts) cricket teams. See below for full details.

In the past, the England Cricket Team have used our ground for practice prior to a Lords test as we have a similar slope to the Lords ground (in fact we are situated on the same hill from Marylebone to Hampstead). For some pictures see here.
Mens
2008 league season gets underway this week with each of the Hampstead mens teams looking for a strong start in the top divisions of the Middlesex County Cricket League.
The club will also playing in many cups, and the friendly games on Sundays look to be as popular as ever.

Outdoor training continues every Wednesday from 6.00pm until dusk.
The 2008 season sees Paul Weekes (formally Middlesex CCC) continue as Director of Cricket and Head Coach. Head Groundsman Steve Jarvis has the ground in great condition for the season. The club is also delighted to welcome back South African player Brandon Buckley for another season at Hampstead
Juniors/Colts
We have a thriving Colts section with teams from U9 up to U17. Each team has it’s own manager, details of which can be found on the Team Page. The Colts section is looking forward to building on last years successes in the Middlesex East Area Leagues and Cups.

Womens
Our Ladies team play in the North London Womens Cricket League. A great start to outdoor training and the continued support of a number of coaches is ensuring the team aim of improving on last seasons results, and maintaining the welcoming attitude of the squad.
Outdoor training runs every Tuesday from 7.00pm until dusk.

Our clubhouse has recently been renovated and is now one of the premier facilities in the Middlesex Cricket League. It has a bar which supplies an assortment of beverages and snacks as well as food on training and match days.
